Dwayne Ray Vaughan

Dwayne Ray Vaughan went to his heavenly home on October 10, 2025. Born on May 29, 1968, Dwayne lived a life full of love, laughter, and adventure. He was known for his big heart, his bright smile, and his willingness to help anyone. Dwayne loved his friends like family and had a way of making everyone feel welcome wherever he went.

There was nothing he enjoyed more than riding his motorcycle — feeling the wind, the freedom, and the peace it brought him. He loved Christmas and always found joy in the lights, the laughter, and the spirit of the season. Dwayne took great pride in his work at the car wash, where he made everyone feel like family. He never met a stranger and was always quick to lend a hand or make someone smile.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Jane Wise Vaughan and Charles Thomas Vaughan, and his siblings David Bruce Vaughan and Debbie Vaughan Smithey.

He is survived by his sons, Justin Vaughan and Coby Vaughan, his sister, Darlene Vaughan Hall, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will cherish his memory. Dwayne is now reunited with his beloved family in Heaven.

He passed peacefully in his sleep and woke up surrounded by love. Though his time here ended too soon, his kindness, loyalty, and that unforgettable smile will live on in the hearts of everyone who loved him.

He’s cruising Heaven’s highway now, the wind at his back and peace in his heart. there will also be a memorial service On November 8th, 2025 at the Lions room. 610 Peppers Ferry Rd. NW suite C 24073 service will start at 12 noon and a meal will be provided after so we can share stories and memories and celebrate his life altogether.
