Donald Garrett Overton, 83 of Floyd, passed away September 8, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Carrie Overton; brothers, Billy, Leo, Melvin, and Roy; sisters, Dorthy, Ruby; stepdaughters, Rachel C. Belcher and Robyn Robinson.

Donald is survived by his ex-wife, Sharon Overton; sons, Garrett Overton, Caleb Overton (Monica), Dezmen, Matthew DyShay; grandsons, Ezekiel Overton, Sean Overton; sisters, Barbara Bart??, Joan McCulley; extended family and friends, Melinda Perry, Sophia Perry, Darrell & Tamara Bohanna, Jada Robinson; and favorite niece, Sharon Isom.
