Donald "Tom" Jones

Donald “Tom” Jones, 64, of Riner, VA, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Russell and Lillian Cooper Jones as well as brothers, David and Benny Jones. 

Tom is survived by his wife of 35 years, Gwen Jones; sons, Will Hines and Brad Hines; granddaughters, Aliza and Malinda Hines; sister, Nancy Smith; brother, Curtis Jones; his precious companions, Gabby, Chief, Holly, and Lilly; as well as numerous other family and friends. Tom was very much loved and will be missed greatly.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution to a charity of your choice. 

A memorial service will be conducted on Monday, February 3, 2025 at 3:00 pm from the chapel of Horne Funeral Home with Pastor George Larue officiating.
