Donald Lee Grissom

Donald Lee Grissom, 87, of Christiansburg, Virginia passed away at his home on July 13, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Zona Epperly Grissom, his parents Hubert and Beulah Grissom, sister Kathyrn G. Logan and brother-in -law Ed D’Angelo. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Donna G. and David Bolejack, sons and daughters-in-law Michael and JoAnn Grissom, Kevin and Linda Grissom, grandchildren Daniel Bolejack, Nicole B. and Charles Drake, Stephen Grissom and Deanna, great grandchildren Evan Ramsey, William Drake, Wrenleigh Grissom, sisters Shirley G. D’Angelo, Linda G. Akers, brother and sister-in-law Larry and Jeri Grissom, and several nieces and nephews. Don was born and raised in Blacksburg, Virginia. He went to work at Poly-Scientific as a young man, retiring after 45 years with the company. Don spent his later years enjoying his time with his companion Mary Sheets and their little dogs. Per Don’s wishes there will be no formal services.
