Donah Roberts Sutherland

Donah R Sutherland, Age 73 of Christiansburg Va, Passed away December 29th, 2025, in her home, after a battle with Parkinson's.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Polly and Noblin Roberts; daughters, Missy Alls and Tracie Wilson; sister, Diane Rakes; brothers, Jerry, Timmy, Danny (Tammy) Roberts.

She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Larry W. Sutherland; grandchildren, Kathryn (Mason) DeCosta, Kenzie (Sam) Sheppard, Jimmy Wilson; brother, Larry (Hope) Roberts; sister, Norma (Michael Bamber); great-grandchildren, Roman and Brodyn DeCosta; niece, Angie (Mark) Light; as well as many more nieces and nephews.

Donah was an amazing woman who knew no stranger.  Her smile and laugh were contagious and lit up the lives of those around her.  The love she had for her family was unconditional.  Donah could be found outside, happily mowing or tending to any yard work she could find.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to her sister Norma, her brother Larry, and her niece Angie, for their unwavering love and devotion.  They never left her side during th4e last few months.  The family would also like to thank the hospice nurses with Good Samaritan for their kindness, compassion, and support.

There will be a celebration of life at a later time.
