Dessie E. “Tiny” Thompson, of Christiansburg, went home to be with the Lord on March 20, 2014.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Thompson; mother, Enid Walters; and son-in-law, William “Billy” Hinkley, Jr. Leaving behind to cherish her memory are daughter, Janice T. Hinkley; granddaughter, Melissa Hinkley; granddaughter and husband, Reba and Christopher Bennington; great-grandsons, Caden and Landon Bennington; special cousin, Betty Bishop; special friends, Andrea Phillips and Malieta Sowers.
The funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 23, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg, with Pastor William Powell officiating.
