Debra Lynn Blevins, 58, of Fairlawn, Virginia, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. She was born on December 28, 1966, to the late Robert and Nellie Cooper.
Lynn had a deep love for long country rides, photography, flowers, and red birds. She was an avid NASCAR fan, always excited for her Sunday race. Above all, she was a devoted mother, sister, aunt, and friend, always ready to offer a helping hand to those she loved. Fall was her favorite time of year, and she looked forward to her annual Goodie Night — a cherished tradition where friends and family would gather to share love, laughter, and tears.
Lynn is survived by her loving partner of 22 years, Mark Snavely, and their two beloved furbabies, Bella and Toby. She is also survived by her only child, her son Bradley Blevins (Kurt Lachermeier), her sisters Patty Lytton (Donnie Lytton) and Barbara Shelor, and many special friends, including Geraldine Sawyers (Eddie Eversole), Jocelyn Camden, and Beth Graham (Chuck Lidgard). In addition, she leaves behind a large extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who she also considered family.
Lynn was preceded in death by her father, Robert Arthur Cooper, mother, Nellie Ruth Cooper, brother, Robert "Bobby" Cooper, her sister, Janet "Sissy" Quesenberry, Aunt Norma Jean Hawks, Uncle Billy Sarver, and beloved nephews Stevie Burton, Darrell Roark, and Dylan Hatcher.
A family visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Horne Funeral Home. Friends and family are invited to join the visitation from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
