David Albert Gillispie, 37, passed away on May 7, 2016 at 4:17 p.m., with family by his side.
David is survived by his parents, Drema Barnett (mother) and Gary (father) and Debbie Gillispie; his brother, Jamie and Amy Gillispie; step-brother, Devin Ringery; step-sister, Shana and Chris Belcher and Michelle and Delbert Collins; his nieces, Lillian and Layne Gillispie, and Harlow Belcher; his girlfriend, Ashley Brown, and the most precious gift of all - his son, Isaiah Gillispie.
David was also blessed to have a big family full of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
David enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching the Cowboys but most of all being with his son. He had such a kind soul and was loved by so many family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at Horne Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel at 11 a.m.
