‘The day your heart stopped beating, mine changed forever’.
Darlene Fitting, 65 of Riner, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on April 30, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Marie Thompson; and her husband, Richard Kent Fitting.
Darlene is survived by her children, Teresa Eggers (Stephen); Matthew Gardner (Megan); grandchildren Emma East, Grace East, Shelby East, Dalton Eggers, Aaliyah Gardner, Roman Peacock; siblings, Teresa Thompson (Ron Baldwin), Donna Slagle, Janice Wright, and Randy Price (Debbie). Also mourning her loss are special friends, Cindy Deforest, Jay and Sharon Gunn, Jackie and Larry Albert, Randy and Kathy Beasley; as well as many more beloved family and friends.
Mom loved spending time with her family, her animals, mowing, planting flowers, and watching WWE wrestling.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023, from 4-6 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home.
