Clinton Lee Slusher, 73, of Christiansburg, went Home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 4, 2017. He was a wonderful husband and a loving father.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Lula Slusher. Clinton is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Judy (Wood) Slusher; sons, Darrin Slusher and wife Nikki and their kids, Caitlin Slusher and Tommy Darr, and Wesley Slusher and wife Natalie and their kids, Ashlee and Mason Slusher, and Colby Sterling; brothers, Wallace (Lorrain) Slusher, Jerry (Joyce) Slusher, Leon Slusher; sister, Carolyn (Earl) Conner; favorite Uncle, George ‘Junior’ Edwards; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is also survived by his dog, Lady; and special neighbors, Doug, Karen, and Jacob Gilmore.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 8, 2017, from 11-1 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 1 p.m. in the Chapel, with Pastor Jim Bayne officiating. Interment will following in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
