Clifford H. Wallace, of Christiansburg, VA, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2013.
Born on March 23, 1945, in Washington, DC, Cliff is survived by his loving wife, Janette C. Wallace; his son, Michael A. Wallace & wife, Jennifer and their children, Zachary, Marcus and Baylee; his daughter, Theresa Wallace (Ron); special brother-in-law & sister-in-law; nieces and nephews; and special friend Sid.
Cliff was a talented craftsman who took great pride in everything he undertook. He worked for New York State Electric & Gas for many years before an accident forced him into an early retirement. But he was able to continue to display his many talents and skills using them to construct custom built homes. He was especially proud of his woodworking craft. Cliff also gave to the community by serving as an active member of both fire departments and rescue squads for many years. In 1988 he and his family relocated to Floyd, VA, where he enjoyed working and visiting with friends at the Friday Night Jamboree at the Floyd Country Store. Then in 1999 he and his wife moved to Christiansburg. Cliff especially enjoyed fishing with his son and grandsons.
