Christopher Boyd Hooper

Christopher Boyd Hooper, 19, of Christiansburg was born on January 23, 2006 to Wade and Lorie Hooper. Christopher went to be with Jesus on September 23, 2025 after a long battle.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wade Hooper; paternal grandparents, Boyd and Faye Hooper; maternal grandfather, Calvin Hinkley; uncle, Larry Hooper, and aunt, Tammy Hinkley St. Clair.

Christopher is survived by his mother, Lorie Hinkley Hooper; grandmother, Hazel Akers Hinkley; aunts & spouses, Carolyn & Frankie Graham, Edith “Candy” Duncan, Terri & Mark Stevers, Jennifer Hinkley, Leslie & Kelly Bishop; uncles & spouses, Joe,& Sharon Hinkley, Jerry & Elisabeth Hinkley; numerous cousins; special granny, Roxanne Bond; and special friends, Skyler Jefferis, Gavin Baldwin of Iowa, Kameron Carden; special cousin, Makayla Bishop; his cat, Midnight; and his New Hope Church of God family.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 28 from 2 to 3 p.m. at New Hope Church of God. Funeral services will follow in the church sanctuary at 3 p.m. with Revs. Todd Debord, Frankie Graham and T. Michael Bond officiating. Interment will follow in Den Hill Cemetery.
