Charles Melvin Silcott, 78, of Harrisonburg, VA, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Silcott; sons, Tony and Ronnie; and his daughter, Eugena; his brothers, Harvey, Murry, and Arnold; and sister, Edna. He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Roger and Dorothy Silcott, Charlie, MJ, and husband Bobby Brooks; daughter, Wanda Johnson; daughter-in-law, Lena Silcott; grandchildren, Chelsea, Christy, Tanya, Brianna, Andy, Willow, and Henry; great-grandchild, Stephen; sister Darcus; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 24, 2017 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with interment to follow at Den Hill Cemetery.
