Cathie Susan Fowler, 60, of Radford, passed away at her home with her family and best friend at her side on July 2, 2020, after a long struggle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert ‘Bulldog’ Montgomery & Gladiese Buckner Montgomery; sisters, Sabrina Bugg, Joyce Lucas; children, William ‘Willy’ Fowler, twins – David and Starlight Fowler; grandchild, Justin Hughes; and special friends and family, Buddy Wayne and Kojack.
Cathie is survived by her husband, William Fowler; children, John ‘Jay’ Fowler, April Fowler (Richard Harvey), Cathalean Fowler (G. W. Quessenberry), Jeremiah ‘Adam’ Fowler; grandkids, Abigail Fowler (Darrius Saunders), Amber Tessar (Timothy Cronin), twin grandkids – John William and Adalynn Quessenberry; and great-grandchild, Isaiah Tessar. She is also survived by siblings, James Montgomery (Elizabeth), Roger Montgomery (Susie), Peggy Shaw, Shirley Dunford (Mike); 2 special sons-in-law, Amos Tessar, John Quessenberry; many nieces, nephews, family and friends; as well as best friends, Sandra Hoover, Sonia ‘Boo’ Hodges, who was her lifelong friend, and David 'Beaver' & Barbara Buchanan.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 2 p.m. at the far end of Bisset Park in Radford.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made on the Facebook fundraiser sponsored by Sandra Hoover.
