GRIM, Catherine Simpkins, of Pilot, died September 10, 2008 at Kroontji Health Care Center at Warm Hearth Village, Blacksburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Zoll L. Grim, Jr., parents; Bentley and Rebecca Simpkins, brothers; Olsen, Craig, Cecil, and Gray, sister; Otis and two great grandchildren.
She is survived by her sister; Oveda (Jack) Cooke of Whiting, NJ, brother-in-law; Kermit (Frances) L. Grim of Floyd, daughters; Glenna (Jim) Jones of Riner, Jane (James) Gordon of Christiansburg, Dorothy (Billy) Martin of Radford, grandchildren; Weldon and Eric (Martha) Jones of Riner, Kent (Cindy) Jones of Concord, NC, Myran (Doug) Moore of Douglas, WY; Nathan (Karen) Lucas of Alexandria, Mitch (Kathy) Martin of Stanley, fourteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at The Horne Funeral Home, Thursday, September 11, 2008 from 5 – 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 12th in The Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Shelor officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
