Carole Sayers Fleming, 74, of Virginia Beach and formerly of Christiansburg, passed away on January 9, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ellis and Roxie Sayers; former husband, Stephen A. Fleming; and several sisters and one brother. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Lynn Fleming Heckman; siblings, Howard Sayers, Betty Ratcliffe, Cecille Pettrey, and Violet Coleman.
Her daughter will receive friends on Wednesday, January 18, 2017, from 6-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2017, at 11 a.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Kenneth Kingrea officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
