Bobbie Katheryn Hall Taylor, born November 24, 1950, went to be with

her Savior on January 18, 2019. Kathy was preceded in death by her

father, Raymond Hall; her step-mother, Violet Hall; her step-father,

Sherman Lloyd; a brother, Ernest Hall; and sister, Betty Tratnik.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of over 50 years, Stan

Taylor of Elliston; her mother, Thelma Lloyd of Elliston; her

daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy (Chris) Webb, Kimberly (Tommy)

Shepherd, and Tresha (Tony) Lafon; six grandchildren, Corey Webb,

Dakota Shepherd, Kayleigh Webb, Cole Shepherd, Ashton Lafon, and Owen

Lafon; and her brother, Roy (Joy) Hall of Ohio. Kathy is also

survived by countless “adopted in her heart” children; many special

nieces and nephews; dear to her heart adopted children, Brenda Artrip,

Joy Phillips, Robin Ferguson, and Ariel Maloney; and a loving church

 family.

Kathy has been a long-standing member of Seneca Baptist Church and has

worked for more than 40 years in the various youth and church programs

including teaching the Teen Sunday School Class for more than 30

years. Kathy also enjoyed crafting, especially crochet work and was a

devoted member of Seneca’s Crafty Christians group. Kathy retired

from the Railroad Retirement Board in 2014 after many years of service

and enjoyed spending her time with her family supporting them in

whatever they were doing. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother,

daughter, and friend, Kathy was often found on the sidelines of

whatever sporting event or in the audience of whatever performance her

 grandchildren were participating in.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Good Samaritan Hospice and

Nexus Homecare for their care and kindness towards Kathy and our

 family.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 21, 2019, from 6-8 p.m. at Seneca Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at 11 a.m. at the Church, with Rev. John Collins officiating. Interment will follow in North Fork Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to either

the Seneca Baptist Youth Fund or Good Samaritan Hospice in Kathy’s

 honor.
