Blain Troy Weaver, Jr.

Aug 19, 1960 — Oct 16, 2026

CHRISTIANSBURG

Blain Troy Weaver, Jr., passed away on October 16, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved him beyond words. He was a hardworking, selfless, loving, and supportive man who showed his love through his actions and dedicated his life to caring for his family.

Above all else, Blain was a proud father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His daughters were among his greatest accomplishments, and his grandchildren and great-grandbabies brought him a special kind of joy. To them, he was “Geepaw”—a name filled with love, comfort, and memories that will be treasured forever. His greatest legacy was not what he built or fixed with his hands, but the family he built, the lives he touched, and the love he gave to every generation.

He was preceded in death by his partner, Trudy Crowe; his parents, Blain Troy Weaver, Sr., and Jessi Lou Weaver (Nipper); his sisters, Priscilla “Polly” Stevenson and Martha Weaver; and his brother-in-law, David “Bink” Lawson.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Jessica Little (Kevin) and Christina Thompson (Buck); grandchildren, Casey Thompson (Kristen), Kimberly Floyd (Emily), Kayla Anne (Ali), Caroline Thompson (Zachary), Conner Thompson (Lexie), Lucas Sturgill, and Kole “Bucket” Little; and great-grandbabies, Joseph, Larry, Ollie, Finnekin, and Ava. He also leaves behind his sisters, Judy Williams and Irene Lawson; his brother, Don Nipper (Susan); a host of nieces and nephews including his special nephew, David Weaver; his lifelong best friends, Ray “Jr.” Boothe and CW Conner; and Emory, a close friend and supporter.

Blain’s passing leaves an emptiness that words cannot express. His family will forever miss his love, his presence, and the comfort of knowing he was there for them. Though his hands are now still, the love he worked so hard to give will continue through his children, grandchildren, and great-grandbabies. Every story shared, every memory remembered, and every generation that carries his love forward will keep a part of him alive.

In accordance with his wishes, Blain will be cremated, and no service will be held.

Rest peacefully, Dad. Rest peacefully, Geepaw. You were loved more than words could ever say, and that love will never end. You will forever be missed, always cherished, and never forgotten. We will carry you in their hearts for the rest of their lives.
