Arthur Edward Mason

Ed Mason, age 74, of Pilot, VA passed away on November 24, 2025.

Born in Pulaski, VA, he was the son of the late Phyllis O Dalton and Robert E Dalton of Draper, VA.

He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Scott Mason of Pulaski, VA and Kevin and Cindy Mason of Riner, VA and two sisters, Patricia Nelson of Check, VA and Cathy Walker of Fairlawn, VA. A nephew, John W Jones of Check, VA and niece, Andi McCraw Nolen, Snowville, VA. He had many dear friends – Jack, all the guys at Estes, Crystal and Giovanni.

Ed enjoyed working on race cars, watching the races on Sundays and going to the races. He loved being outdoors. He was proud of his gun collection.

Ed was proud to be a Veteran of the US Marine Corp.

There will be a visitation at Horne Funeral Home in Christiansburg on Tuesday, December 2 nd , at 12:00 followed by a graveside service at 2:30 at the SW VA Veterans Cemetery in Dublin, VA
