IN LOVING MEMORY OF WILMA J. BISHOP
Wilma J. Bishop, 55, of Christiansburg, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 26, 2018. Wilma had a heart of gold and loved her sons, grandsons, soon-to-be granddaughter and family very much.
She was preceded in death by her father, Landon Bishop that she loved with all her heart. She left us with wonderful memories, and lots to cherish for years to come. She heard God calling and He knew it was time for her pain in this life to come to an end. He put His arms around her and whispered come with Me. Her family will mourn her but we know she is in a better place. She loved her grandsons Ian and Ashton with all her heart.
She leaves behind her mother, Frances Bishop; and two sons, Shannon Smith and fiancée Shelley Flood and Brandon Smith; grandsons, Ian and Ashton Smith; sisters, Donna Thomas and Wanda Martin and their families; and brother, Michael Bishop. We will always love you!
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, from 6-8 p.m. at New Hope Church of God. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2018, at 2 p.m. at New Hope Church of God with Pastor T. Michael Bond officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
