SALE, W. Stuart, of Blacksburg passed away Friday, January 18, 2008. He was born November 8, 1926 in Norfolk, VA and served in the United States Army Air Force in WW II, graduated with a degree in engineering from VPI in 1951, and raised four children with his wife June S. Sale who preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children; Nancy Simko and husband Bob, of Manchester, GA, Richard S. Sale and wife Shelia of Sumerduck, VA, Courtney Roth and husband Nathan of Mena, Ark, Patricia Harrison and husband Randy of Radford, Virginia. He is also survived by five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Monday, January 21, 2008, 11 a.m. at Christ Episcopal Church, Church & Jackson Streets, Blacksburg.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that contributions may be made to Shrine Mont, Orkney Springs, VA 22845
