HAMBLIN, Willie Bane, Jr. “Junie”, 64 of Christiansburg died Sunday, July 3, 2011. Mr. Hamlin was preceded in death by his parents; Bill and Louise Hamblin, brother; Ray Hamblin and grandson; Joseph Compton.
He is survived by his children; Becky and Benji Reed, Marti Elmore, Lori Hamblin and her fiancé’ Kenny Compton, Jr., all of Christiansburg, P.J. & Brian Neice of Pearisburg. Five grandchildren, two brothers and three sisters also survive.
The family will receive friends at the Horne Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 from 5 – 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at the Cambria Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Jerry Shepherd officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to help offset expenses.
