Willie E. Baker, 79, of Shawsville, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 25, 2012.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Thelma Louise Baker; his parents, Roxy & Raynard Baker; brother, Kelsey Baker; and sister, Gertrude Sowers.
He is survived by his beloved son, Larry Baker; daughter, Brenda Pava; 4 granchildren, Shawn McDaniel, Jennifer Pava and 2 special grandchildren and caretakers, Dawn & Matthew Baker; 3 great-grandchildren, Jaelyn Sutphin, Cali East and Shane (Buckwheat) Baker and 1 great-grandchild on the way, Baby Baker; sister, Dorothy Young; nephew, Tony Young; special friends, Benny Wright, Pete Dove and Burl Baker.
A small service was held at the home with Rev. Burl Baker officiating. There will be no further services.
