William Mosby Whitworth (Shorty), 88 of Christiansburg, passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oakley and Hattie Taylor Whitworth; and his wife, Alice Whitworth. He is survived by his son, Russell Whitworth and wife Linda; two granddaughters, Tara and Elizabeth; 3 great-grandchildren; as well as other extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 4, 2013, from 5-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, with Rev. Sebert Rorrer officiating.
