William 'Bill' Lloyd Martin
April 11, 1933 — March 19, 2015
William (Bill) Lloyd Martin, 81, of Christiansburg, passed away on March 19, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Darcus Martin.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 53 years, Juanita Compton Martin; daughters, Cindy McDaniel, Carolyn Cochran, and April Danner; grandchildren, Shawn and Laura McDaniel, Samantha, Chase, and Jacob Cochran; sisters, Geneva Jackson and Barbara Lafon; dog, Gracie; as well as other extended family and friends.
The family received friends on Friday, March 20, 2015, from 5-7:30 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Belmont Christian Church, with Mr. Jerry Dowdy and Mr. Brandon Craig officiating. Interment will follow in Belmont Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Bill’s memory to the Vision Fund, Belmont Christian Church, 2149 Dominion Drive, Christiansburg, VA 24073.
