DEWESE, WILLIAM ROGERS ?BILL?, age 67, of Christiansburg, passed away Sunday, January 23, 2005 at Montgomery Regional Hospital ER.
He was the son of the late Ninevah and Daisy M. Dewese. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Margaret E. D. Scott. Mr. Dewese was employed with Federal Mogul for 25 years and also retired from the U. S. Army with 20 years of service. He was the owner of Dewese Electronics. He held certifications in First Aid, CPR and AED and was an instructor with the American Red Cross.
Survivors include his wife, Annie M. Dewese; sons and daughter-in-law, Steven Dewese of Christiansburg; Anthony & Bettina Dewese of Radford; brothers and sister-in-law, George E. Dewese & Matsue of Shawsville, Robert L. Dewese of Bluefield, WV; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mildred & Bobby Jarrett of Christiansburg; father-in-law, Albert Johnson of Christiansburg; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the Christiansburg Pentecostal Holiness Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 27, 2005 at the Christiansburg Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Richard Kingrea and Rev. Buford Linkous officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Military Graveside Rites conducted by VFW Post 1184. The Dewese Family is being served by Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg, (382-2612).
