William Dale Boothe

WILLIAM DALE BOOTHE, 72, of Fairlawn passed away May 19th at New River Valley Medical Center. He earned a degree from New River Community College in electronics, and a degree in business from National Business College with Honors. He was a devout Christian and a longtime member of Belmont Christian Church. He was an avid musician and leader of the band ‘Nostalgia’. He was well known and liked around the community and businesses. He was a jokester and never met a stranger. He like to try new things and knew no boundaries, always meeting the challenges in life. He was very patriotic and loved the American Flag. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus ‘Pete’ & Virginia Boothe. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Peggy Boothe; sister, Linda Boothe; children, Dale & Katinka Hawley, Missy & PJ Adkins; and Tracy Adkins; 6 grandsons; 2 granddaughters; and 1 great granddaughter. Graveside services will be on Monday, May 24, 2021 at 2p.m at Belmont Cemetery.
