THOMPSON, VIRGINIA DOVE, age 90 of Christiansburg, passed away Monday, June 28, 2004.
She is survived by six children, daughters & sons-in-law, Doris D. Minnick of Christiansburg; Shelby D & Gene McKinney of Illinois, Linda D. & Earl Usry of Georgia; Diana Dove of Christiansburg; sons & daughters-in-law, Robert L. & Melissa Dove of Floyd, James Taylor & Carolyn Dove, Jr. of Christiansburg; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lorene & Junior Porterfield of Pulaski; Helen & Bill Coltrane of Pulaski; 10 grandchildren, Terri Wright, Benny Sutphin, Tony Newsome, Loretta Howell, Stan Newsome, Wendy Conner, Jamie Dove, Leatrice Shepherd, Lynn Price Long, David Dean Price; 14 great grandchildren, one great grandchild and six step children.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 30 at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wallace Yopp and Rev. Eddie Booth officiating. Interment will follow in Den Hill Cemetery. The Thompson Family is being served by Horne Funeral & Cremation Service, Christiansburg. (382-2612)
