Virginia DeHart

Virginia L. DeHart of Christiansburg, VA, peacefully passed away Sunday night, August 18, 2013, at the age of 79.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Darl and Kate Lucas; brother, Bill Lucas; and sisters, Mary Alice Woods and Martha (Polly) Lucas.

Left to cherish her memories are son, Bill Turner DeHart, Jr. and daughter-in-law Shirley DeHart; daughter, Mary Delilal DeHart Baltz and son-in-law Steve Baltz; brother, Worth Lucas and sister-in-law Mary Lucas; grandchildren, Tammy DeHart, Junior DeHart, Jennifer Gill, and Stephen Baltz; a special great-grandchild, Jadyn DeHart; as well as all her other family and friends.

No matter what you called her – Mom, Grandma G, Gen, GG or Virginia - she always answered. She loved life and per her request there will be no funeral or memorial service. Instead she asks that everyone she loved and all that loved her take a day to enjoy life as she always did.
