BROWN, Virginia Jane Styne, 80 of Showalter Center, Blacksburg died October 8, 2011.
Jane was born and raised in Buchanan, VA, the daughter to the late Louis E. and Doris Garrett Styne She was also preceded in death by her husband; Jerald Brown, her brother; Karl Frederick Styne, sister; Jacqueline Earle Styne, and her brother; William Noftsinger Styne.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law; Robert J. and Julia Styne of Riner, sister and brother-in-law; Anne Styne Curtis and Ralph Mann of Wasilla, Alaska. She is also survived by her nephews; Robert J. Styne, Jr., Jackson F. Styne, nieces; Judith Styne Baker, Sally Styne Marcheterre and Katheryn Styne Jones.
The family will receive friends at The Horne Funeral Home Tuesday, October 11, 2011 from 4-6 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2011 in the Fairview Cemetery, in Buchanan, VA with Dr. William Baker officiating.
