Timothy James Mowry

Timothy James Mowry, 61, of Elliston, formerly of New York, went home with God on Monday, June 20, 2016, after a long illness.

He worked in the IBEW Local #328 in Oswego, NY, and later as a start up electrical engineer for factories. Tim worked with Fluor Daniel, Johnson & Johnson, ITT, and Mass Electric. Tim and his wife Linda remodeled homes, their last home being in the mountains near Roanoke, VA. He loved being with his kids and grandkids, and loved the Syracuse Orange to the very end.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Mowry and Arelene Mowry of Mexico, NY. He is survived by his wife, Linda Johnson Mowry of Elliston, VA; sons, Ryan Mowry and wife Erin of Christiansburg, VA, Theodore Mowry of Elliston, VA; daughters, Rebecca Mowry (John) of Oak Hill, WV, Sara Mowry of Blacksburg, VA; grandson, Joey Richardson; granddaughters, Ally Richardson, Peyton Mowry, and Addy Mowry.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 25, 2016, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Oswego Church of Christ, NY, with the Memorial Service to directly follow at noon.
