BUCHANAN, Thomas Eugene, 63, of Christiansburg, went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, July 1, 2008. He leaves behind his best friend and wife, Sue Buchanan; stepson and daughter-in-law, Steve and Kim McKittrick; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Joy and Buck Morgan; five much loved step-grandchildren, Holly, Chase, and Will McKittrick, Jane and Julie Morgan.
Thank you for the joy you brought to his life. He also leaves behind his special dear friend, Ernest (Jr.) Snyder. Brothers: Phillip Buchanan, of Midlothian, VA; David Buchanan, of Bluefield, WV; Herbert (Bud) Buchanan, of Rising Sun, MD; Sisters, Kathy Doughton, of York, SC; Nancy Spicer, of Chester, VA. He felt blessed to live in this country and was a proud Vietnam veteran.
Visitation will be held Saturday, July 5, from 4-6 p.m. at Horne Funeral Service, in Christiansburg. Graveside service with military honors, Sunday, July 6, 2008 at 2:30 p.m., at Sunset Cemetery in Christiansburg, with Pastor Mike Vest officiating.
