Thelma “Ann” Bland Lovern, 71, of Christiansburg, passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2012.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Willard Lovern; her parents, James & Dolly Bland; and her siblings, Samuel Bland, Nelson Bland and Nellie Lucas.
She is survived by her children, Patricia Phillips & husband Andrew, David Lovern & wife Lisa, and Terry Lovern; grandchildren, Daniel Phillips & fiancée Beth Whitaker, Benjamin Phillips & wife Adrianna, and Joshua Lovern; brother, Roy Bland & wife Delores; plus other extended family. She is also survived by her neighbor, Mendel Hess and her special friends at Hardee’s.
Ann loved the Lord and lived her life treating everyone with love and respect. She was a very loving & kind woman and will be remembered for her beautiful smile.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 23, 2012, from 12-2 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg, with the funeral service to be held at 2 pm in the Chapel. Rev. Ronnie Duncan will officiate and interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
