OWENS, TERRY ALAN, age 42, of Christiansburg, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2006.
Terry was a wonderful Father, Husband, Grandfather who cherished Aidan; he was a member of the Auburn Baptist Church and an employee of Volvo. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Catherine Owens.
He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Mary Pannell Owens of Christiansburg; sons and daughter-in-law, Thomas & Julie Owens, of Rural Retreat; Justin Owens of Christiansburg; grandson, Aidan Owens of Rural Retreat; his parents, Donnie & Robina Owens of Boiling Springs, SC; and his brothers and sisters-in-law, Donnie, Jr. & Missy Owens, Ray & Donna Owens, Mike & Elizabeth Owens, Kenny & Ann Owens.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 18 at the Auburn Baptist Church with Pastor Shake Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery. The Owens Family is being served by Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg, (382-2612).
