Williams, Teresa Cadd, 53, of Shawsville, VA, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 5, 2011.
She was born September 14, 1957 in Alleghany County, VA. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert (Larry) Whitmore in 1994.
Teresa graduated from Alleghany County High School and Dabney S. Lancaster Community College. She was a member of White Memorial United Methodist Church where she was very active and ministered alongside her husband. She loved crafting, decorating, and gardening.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. Herb Williams; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Zack Denton; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Heather Whitmore; parents, Geraldine and Elwood Cadd; sisters, Sandra Clemmons and Donna Craft; brothers and sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts. uncles, and cousins.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Teresa Fund at White Memorial United Methodist Church.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Horne Funeral Home. A memorial service will be conducted on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at 2:00 pm at White Memorial United Methodist Church officiated by Rev. Steve Hundley. Interment will be private at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
