Susan Elaine Bower, 66, of Riner, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorsey Junior and Esther Ann Chafin Bower. She is survived by her brother, Paul Hayden Bower; brother and sister-in-law, Jimmie Dorsey and Martha Bower; niece, Toni Michelle Helms; nephews, Kevin Ray Bower, Michael Paul Bower; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Zachary Dakota Helms, Malorie Kay Bower, Taylor Lynn Helms, Levi Dillon Bower, and Torri Alexis Bower.
She was a wonderful person and a loving daughter, sister, aunt, great-aunt and friend. She will be greatly missed. Susan was a member of the Alpha Mu Master Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 8, 2013, from 6-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 9th at 2 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Darlene Marshall officiating. Interment will follow in St. Matthew Cemetery, Riner.
