Steve Allen Meredith, 40, of Blacksburg, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at his home. He is survived by his parents, John William & Linda Cunningham Meredith; sister, Carol Ann Garcia & husband Frank of South Carolina; grandmother, Katherine Epperly Meredith; aunt, Geneva Martin; and his pet dog, Beth.
Steve enjoyed fishing, eating and spending time with his family and his dog. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
The graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg, with Mr. Grover Nixon officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at Horne Funeral Home.
