DOBBINS, Sherry Witt, 63 of Christiansburg, went to be with the Lord suddenly on Thursday, June 8, 2006.
The daughter to the late Margie G. Willis she was also preceded in death by her first husband; Kenneth W. Witt.
She was retired from the Kroger Company after 29 years of service. She is survived by her husband, William ?Bill? S. Dobbins; father, Roy Willis of Ridgeway, VA; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Pam Witt of Bristol, TN; stepdaughter, Cheryl Hudgins and husband George, Riner, VA; grandchildren, Chase Witt, of Blacksburg, VA, Casey Witt, of Covington, VA, Bradley (wife Holly), Craig (wife Abby), and Ryan Hudgins, all of Christiansburg, VA; great grandchildren, Dulaney Hudgins; sister, Mickey Gray, of King, NC; nieces, Amanda (husband Daniel) of Pilot Mountain, NC and children, Jaxon and Maci Lane; brothers-in-law, Jerry (wife Jane) Dobbins, of Virginia Beach, VA.
The family will receive friends from 2 ? 5 p.m. Sunday, June 11, 2006 at The Horne Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. June 12, 2006 in The Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. James Dickerson, Pastor Kathy Hale, and Minister Ralph Sproles officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Memorial Gardens, Bluefield, Virginia.
