Sarah Ann 'Sammy' Sowers

Sarah Ann Sowers 'Sammy', 53 of Elliston, VA, passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2021. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sarah Foley; mother-in-law, Dorothy Sowers; and stepson, Anthony Sowers.
Sammy is survived by her husband, Cecil Sowers, Jr.; father-in-law, Cecil Sowers; sons and daughter-in-law, Bradley Foley, Joseph and Ansley Sowers; daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Alexander Moore; sister, Margaret Lewis; and father, Bill Foley. She was also the grandmother to Jakob, Kaiden, Madison, Izak, Karson, Morghann, Joseph Jr., Tyler, Mackenzie, and Abigail Sowers, Landon Owens and Reid Moore, and Isaiah Clay Foley.
Sarah enjoyed quilting and spending time with her mother, seeing her grandchildren, loving on her fur babies and spending time with her husband.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021, from 6-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home.
