Sarah Teany Duncan

Sarah Teany Duncan, 94, of Christiansburg passed away June 1, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Paul Duncan; parents, George and Elizabeth Teany; brothers, Ludlow Teany, Paul Teany, George ‘Sonny’ Teany, and John Teany; sisters, Julia Bratton and Sally Bowles; brothers-in-law, Robert Bratton, Rhudy Bowles, and Bob Semones; and sisters-in-law, Marge Teany, and Susan Teany . Sarah is survived by her children, Larry Duncan and wife, Diane, Linda Whitworth and husband, Russell, David Duncan, Wayne Duncan and wife, Beth; 5 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; sister, Mary Peterman and husband, Billy; sisters-in-law, Mary Francis Teany and Reva Semones; special neighbors, Lori and Riley Phillips, and Roger, Peggy and Jeff Sheppard; and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at 1 p.m. at Indian Creek Cemetery in Floyd.
