Salvatore Vincent Emanuele, 74, of Christiansburg, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2012.
He was born August 20, 1937, in San Fratello, Italy. He was married to the late Joan May Lazzarino on February 12, 1955, in New York before relocating to Louisa, Virginia. He retired from American Press in Gordonsville, Virginia.
He was survived by seven children; 21 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Salvatore was a very dedicated husband and father. He was a hard worker, always willing to help others and had a great sense of humor.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 10, 2012, from 5-8 pm at Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2012, at 11 am in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with interment to follow in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg.
