Ruth Wickham Shelor, 91, of Christiansburg, passed away March 29, 2014, at Highland Ridge Rehabilitation Center in Dublin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Houston E. Shelor; parents, Frank & Clara Wickham; sisters, Allene Woods, Frances Williams, and Jean W. Clifton; and a brother, Howard L. Wickham.
She is survived by her son, David Shelor, Sr. and fiancée, Betty Spence of Christiansburg; grandsons, David Shelor, Jr. and wife, Leisa Shelor, Blacksburg, and Christopher Shelor and wife, Kandee Shelor of Florence, SC; great-grandchildren, Trey, Chas, Mason & Brock Shelor; sisters, Sandra Zender and Louise Papayonis; and all her friends in her bridge club.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at St. Paul United Methodist Church. The Funeral Service will be held directly after at 1 p.m. with Rev. Charles DeHart officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg.
