DUNCAN, ROY JUNIOR, age 69 of Christiansburg passed away at his home on Sunday, September 5, 2004.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Hazel Duncan, wife, Mary Scott Duncan and daughter Teresa Duncan.
Survivors include his wife, Patsy K. Duncan of Christiansburg; son, Michael Duncan of Myrtle Beach, SC; Stepchildren, Glen and Wanda Keith of Childress; Boo Aldridge of Childress; Greg and Sharon Sowers of Riner; stepgrandchildren, Nicole Willis, Brannon Aldridge, Kara Keith, Amy Keith, Ashley Sowers, Amber Sowers; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Idell Duncan, Billy & Mary Duncan; sister and brother-in-law, Judy & Jim Tedder; several nieces and nephews and a good friend, Brenda Hughes.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 8 at the Belmont Christian Church with Pastor Jim Bayne and Pastor Jerry Dowdy officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Belmont Christian Church, Building Fund, 2149 Dominion Drive; Christiansburg, VA 24073.
