Roxie Ellen Lane Davis, 100, of Christiansburg, VA, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2012, at Richfield Nursing Home.
She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence Edward Davis.
She is survived by her daughter, Mammie Hall & husband, Elmer; son, Gary M. Davis & Becky Schmidt; 2 grandsons, Daniel and David Hall; a sister-in-law, Opal Davis; countless nieces and nephews; a special friend, Margaret Woolwine; and many other special friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 8, 2012, from 1-3 at the Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted on Monday, January 9, 2012, at 1 pm in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Ed Watkins officiating. Interment will follow in Den Hill Cemetery, Christiansburg.
