He was blessed to be part of a large, loving family, whom he cherished dearly. Additionally, he is survived by multiple nieces and nephews, whom he loved like his own children, and neighbors and friends that are spread around the world, as he made friends everywhere he went. We will all miss him so much and will treasure and honor his memory forever.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 11, 2013, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The graveside service with full military honors will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2013, at 10 a.m. at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Dublin.
