Sheppard, Ronald “Ronnie” Franklin, age 49, of Christiansburg, VA, passed away on Friday, April 2, 2010 at the home with his mom and dad by his side.
He is survived his parents, LeRoy and Linda Sheppard; his daughter, Roni Leigh Sheppard; and granddaughter, Lillian Belle Whitt of Alderson, WV.
He is also survived by his sister, Tammy Fitzkee and husband Wes; nieces who loved their uncle “BoBo”, Nicole Detchemendy, LaKen Detchemendy Allie Fitzkee, and Courtney Martin; great niece, Madison Akers; and nephew Jody “Bubba” Akers, Jr..
Ronnie loved the great outdoors, fishing, hunting, and cooking. He also loved his Mt. in West Virginia, which will be his final resting place.
A memorial service will be conducted on Monday, April 5, 2010 at 1:00 pm from the chapel of Horne Funeral Home with Rev. Emmett Sheppard officiating.
