Roger Lee Shaw, 61, of Christiansburg passed away after a long hard battle with muscular dystraphy.
He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Lee Shaw; mother, Elizabeth Shaw; brothers, George Shaw Jr. & Michael Lynn Shaw; and grandson Cooper Shaw.
Roger is survived by his wife, Barbara H. Shaw; son & daughter-in-law, Timmie & Sue Ann Shaw; father and step mother, George & Laetitia Shaw; brother & sister-in-law, Jerry & Debra Shaw; sisters, Kathy Bugg & Karen Keller; grandsons, Elijah Hedge, Thomas Shaw & Matthew Shaw; granddaughter, Lily Shaw. Thanks to Carilion Hospice team, the nurses at Maxim Healthcare Service and a special thanks to Sharon Wood, RN.
The family will receive friends one hour before the 11 a.m. service on Tuesday, March 31 at Horne Funeral Home with Rev. David Hurd officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens.
