Roger Lee Hinkley

Roger Lee Hinkley, 71, of Christiansburg, went to be with Jesus on Monday, May 4, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jonah and Frances Hinkley; and beloved granddaughter, Lexie Stump.

Roger is survived by his loving wife, Mary (Janie) Hinkley; daughter, Marie Stump; sons, James B. Stump and wife Brandy and Wayne E. Stump and fiancée Rachel; grandson, James M. Stump; siblings, Nancy Custer, Tom Hinkley, Kate Musselman, Samuel Hinkley, Vernus (Duck) Hinkley, Rebecca Lovern, Gary Hinkley, Frank Hinkley, Richard Hinkley, and Judy Bond; as well as other extended family and friends.

Thank you to our church family, Blue Ridge Cancer Care Center, as well as the nurses and aids at Lewis Gale Montgomery PCU.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 10, 2015, from 5-8 p.m. at New Hope Church of God, Mudpike Road, Christiansburg. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 11, 2015, at 11 a.m. at New Hope Church of God, with Pastor T. Michael Bond and Pastor Jamie Cooper officiating. Entombment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Christiansburg.
