Robert Lee Whetsel, 72, of Radford, passed away on January 4, 2016. Bob was born May 16,
1943. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mable Whetsel; and daughter, Tammy Lea Whetsel.
Bob is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Mary (Kate) Whetsel; son, Robert Whetsel and
his wife Ruth Barrett; daughter, Anna Ree Whetsel Rucker; grandchildren, Jason and Erica Whetsel, Niycoka Whetsel, Josh Johnston and Tiesha Mosier, Zac Johnston and Jozlyn Lewis,
Donavan Whetsel Rucker; great-grandchildren, Holdien, Olivia, Trynt, Payton, Destiny, Keymoni, Brianna, and Aubree; as well as other extended family and friends.
The family will have a Celebration of Life on Friday, January 8, 2016, from 2-4 p.m. at First
Baptist Church, 555 West Rock Road, Radford.
