EPPERLY, ROBERT M., Sr. “BOBBY”age 75, of Christiansburg, passed away Friday, January 11, 2008 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Salem.
A Veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Korea. Mr. Epperly owned and operated “Bobby Epperly Concrete” a concrete contracting business in Christiansburg for over forty years.
He was preceded in death by sons, Robert Marshall Epperly, Jr., Terry Lee Epperly and Ricky Leonard Epperly and a grandson, Brian Shouse.
Surviving are his wife, Mary R. Epperly; a son, Sam Epperly, Sr.; daughters, Sandra Dee Epperly Shouse, Judy Lynn Epperly; grandchildren, Sammy, Terry, Scott, Mike, Justin, Brandon and Stacy; and eight great grandchildren; a brother, Ralph Edward Epperly, South Dakota; two sisters-in-law, Irene Thompson, Christiansburg and Betty Shelor, Blacksburg.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 Sunday, Jan. 13th at the Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14th at the Bible Holiness Church, S. Franklin Street, conducted by Pastor Duane Martin with interment to follow in Sunset Cemetery.
